Welcome to Dublin
Dublin, Ireland’s capital serves as a vibrant, lively hub for some of the world’s leading companies and thinkers. A compact city that punches above its weight, it offers all you need to connect and build connections at the ICSEI 2024.
The city is a lively mix of traditional and modern. It excites and inspires, while the famous Irish hospitality adds a unique dimension to any event. From majestic museums to tiny galleries, modern attractions or heritage trails, Dublin has it all in abundance. Dublin has a thousand-year-old cultural heartbeat, with cobbled streets, Viking influence and traditional Georgian architecture. The historic centre is filled with literary landmarks. Delegates can enjoy immersion in local history with a visit to Trinity College, the James Joyce Tower or Dublin Castle. Music, song and dance play a large part in the artistic make-up of the capital. The city showcases artists from traditional Irish folk musicians like The Dubliners to contemporary stars like Hozier, U2 or Sinéad O’Connor in many dedicated venues.
Sport is a big part of life in Ireland and especially in Dublin where it’s more than a hobby, it’s in our blood. ICSEI 2024 delegates can try their hands at hurling or football, our national sports at historic Croke Park, or support their favourite team at a blisteringly exciting rugby match at Aviva Stadium.
Beyond the city centre, County Dublin brings a wealth of experiences. The city stretches from the Dublin Mountains out to the open sea on the coastline. The mountains offer a breath of fresh air, thanks to incredible vistas, hiking and walking trials and a variety of wildlife. Charming coastal villages are home to inviting beaches, seafood dining, water sports and spectacular views of Dublin Bay.
We believe Dublin offers everyone the opportunity to strengthen networks and create exciting new experiences and memories.
